AQUILES SOLUTIONS PROCTWIN

Aquiles Solutions ProcTwin

ProcTwin is a European project focused on the development of a demonstration platform designed to predict, visualize and optimize different stages of the steel manufacturing process through digital twins, numerical simulation, smart sensors, industrial data integration and distributed machine learning models.

The project aims to connect processes that are often managed separately —such as continuous casting, reheating, hot rolling, quenching and levelling— in order to better understand their interdependencies and support more informed decision-making in industrial environments.

Industrial application

The project will demonstrate its results in two industrial use cases: CELSA Group in Spain, focused on surface quality and rolling optimization, and SSAB in Sweden, focused on quenching and levelling processes.

These use cases will allow the consortium to validate the proposed approach in real industrial environments and assess its impact on process performance, quality, energy efficiency and operational decision support.

Aquiles Solutions’ contribution

Aquiles Solutions participates as a member of the ProcTwin consortium, contributing its expertise in digital solution development, optimization, data analytics and artificial intelligence applied to industrial environments.

Our participation in the project reinforces our commitment to developing practical AI-based solutions that help industrial companies improve their operations, increase efficiency and accelerate their digital transformation.
